My Trip to Italy

Italy was a dream come true from Rome’s history, the people, and the food. Here’s everything I explored! This by far was one of my favorite trips to date. I hope to go back again in the near future.

Italy Travel Tips

Here are some helpful things I learned while visiting Italy. These tips made my experience at the Colosseum, the Vatican, and throughout Rome so much better!

• Wear good walking shoes. You will be walking a LOT, especially at the Colosseum and the Vatican. The cobblestone streets can be rough on your feet. A nice pair of gym shoes should help with that.
• Bring a fully charged phone. You’ll want to take tons of photos, trust me. There are so many beautiful buildings, statues, and views.
• Get an English-speaking guide if needed. This was totally worth the extra money. Our guide explained the art, pointed out hidden details, and told us which rooms didn’t allow photos.
• Your guide can take photos for you! Ours took amazing pictures of me and my partner that we wouldn’t have gotten on our own.
